Chrisley Family News – Time For A Road Trip
Chrisley Family news reveals that, according to Page Six, Lindsie Chrisley and Nanny Faye are making time to be there for Todd as he begins serving his 12-year sentence. The pair took a road trip to Florida over the weekend.
Over the weekend, the Chrisley Knows Best veteran, currently serving his sentence in the Federal Correctional Institute Pensacola Florida, was visited by his daughter Lindsie Chrisley and his mom, Nanny Faye. As of yet, however, they are the only ones to make the journey.
Lindsie Chrisley – Describes Impromptu Road Trip
According to Entertainment Tonight, Lindsie spoke of her “impromptu road trip” indicating that people were curious about the reason behind her visit. “This past weekend, there was a thread about people trying to figure out what beach I was at and why I was there – if it was my parent’s beach house – if it was a new condo,” the TV personality revealed during her “Southern Tea” podcast on Wednesday.
The trip comes days after Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley reported to their individual prisons on January 17 after they were sentenced to 12 and seven years, respectively, for bank fraud and tax evasion. Though Todd will be spending his time in Florida, and Julie, 50, was initially set to serve her time just over 130 miles away in another Florida federal prison, her destination was recently changed to Federal FMC Lexington in Kentucky, several hundred miles from her husband.
Lindsie Chrisley – Reveals Sense of Peace and Closure
Once the Chrisley family matriarch and patriarch are released from prison, years from now, they will each be required to serve 16 months under supervised release. The Chrisley children have been open about how the drastic change in their family dynamic has affected them.
Lindsie — who is Todd and his ex-wife Teresa Terry’s daughter — shared on her podcast that, though the result was not “what we wanted,” she’s happy there “is some sense of peace and closure,” adding that she’s glad the family now has “opportunity” to adjust to the change.
How Is Savannah Chrisley Handling the Change?
Conversely, Todd and Julie Chrisley’s eldest daughter, Savannah, 25, confessed recently that her life is “falling apart” with her parents gone. “We kind of had to say goodbye to my parents for a little bit of time, for the foreseeable future. And that was really, really, really tough,” the actor said on her Unlocked podcast on Tuesday.
