Todd Chrisley Clarifies His Wife Julie Being In A Medical Prison

“Chrisley Knows Best” patriarch, Todd Chrisley and his wife Julie reported to their respective prisons on January 17. She will serve seven years behind bars, and he’ll do 12 years for fraud and tax-related offenses. However, they obviously heard that her prison facility was changed to one at a medical center before USA Network fans did. As fans were concerned that Julie might be ill, they pre-recorded a podcast to clarify the position.

Todd Chrisley – Speaks About Julie In Prison

USA Network fans only heard after they reported to prison that Julie was no longer heading to Florida. At one stage, theories arrived that she’d be at the FCI Marianna. That came after initial speculation that she’d be at the FCI Tallahassee facility. However, she ended up reporting to the Federal Medical Center in Lexington. If you don’t know, she previously battled breast cancer. So, fans assumed that she had a problem with that. However, that’s not the case.

Todd Chrisley reported to his prison, FCI Pensacola, Florida. But before they went, they pre-reconded a session on “Chrisley Confessions.” It came after two sad disappointments. They’d tried to get the court to delay their imprisonment until their appeal was heard. Actually, he still seemed quite confident that they will prove their innocence. In the meantime, listeners also heard that his Aunt Jane had passed away. So, it was a sad time for the whole family. Additionally, he clarified worried about Julie’s health.

Todd Chrisley – Assures Fans That Julie Chrisley Is Not Sick

Fans of Chrisley Knows Best fans know that Nanny Faye, Todd’s mom battles with cancer in the bladder at the moment. In fact, she’s due for more treatment soon. But, Julie isn’t ill with a recurrence of breast cancer. If you don’t know, she won her battle that followed a mammogram before the show started. Mind you, it took her years before she was able to stop treatment. In the podcast, Todd said, “Neither one of us is dying of cancer.”

Todd Chrisley will be a long way from Julie whilst they are incarcerated. There is a satellite camp at Lexington so possibly, she will end up there. However, it might be a relief to know that if things go wrong, medical care is close by for Julie. Additionally, the prison is closer to Nashville, Tennessee. So, possibly the kids will be able to visit her quite often.

Todd Chrisley – Fans Reacted To The Prison Term

Todd Chrisley and Julie, fans believe, got excessive sentences. And, some of them slapped at the judge because they didn’t defraud the elderly or hurt any children. However, that’s not likely to change the mind of the court: unless they can win their appeal.

When Entertainment Tonight posted up on YouTube about them reporting to prison, Regina Pugh commented, “Prayers for this family…I am so saddened by this. We have all let circumstances get the best of us at one point or another. My heart goes out to the children.”

Meanwhile, others talked about how difficult it must be for his mom, “Nanny Faye.”
