The Young And The Restless Wasted Colleen Zenk?

The Young and the Restless spoilers say big, bad Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) is no longer a threat to the Newman Family.

This week on the CBS soap the As The World Turns icon seemed to make her exit as she was hauled away in handcuffs.  But, did the Y&R fumble an amazing actress?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers –  Is Colleen Zenk Gone For Good

We know that when a baddie goes to jail on The Young and the Restless, they aren’t always really gone.

But, sadly it looks like Colleen Zenk’s character Aunt Jordan was just a tool to get Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and Cole Howard (Eddie Peck Jr) in to Genoa City.

Hayley Erin is a phenomenal actress and a huge get for the CBS soap, so we see why they went to extreme lengths to introduce her in to the fold, and bringing back a love interest for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was an added bonus.

But, did they have to waste Colleen Zenk on a temporary character?

Colleen Zenk has legions of her own devoted fans from the decades she starred on As The World Turns.

Zenk’s name rings bells in the soap opera world.  When viewers learned she was joining The Young and the Restless, they were thrilled.  And, she killed the part of crazy Aunt Jordan.  But, why did her storyline have to be so short?

We were all hoping when news broke she had joined Y&R, that it would be on a more permanent basis.

However, there’s also the possibility that the CBS soap couldn’t afford to keep her on the payroll for a long period of time.  What do you think?  Were you sad to see Aunt Jordan go, even if she was a total psychopath?
