The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis’ Agreement Fraught With Risk – Tucker Plots To Help Ashley

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is tired of hiding and makes an agreement to turn herself into the authorities in exchange for a promise made by Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).

As viewers recall, Tucker was at the Genoa City Athletic Club when he overheard Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) make an out-of-character mistake. Phyllis’ longtime friend and attorney met in a public space and within earshot of Tucker, telling Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) what their mother’s plan was.

The above gave Tucker the information he needed to present a deal to Phyllis that involves the Emergency Medical Technician (Carson, no last name known for the character played by Walter Belenky) Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) hired as part of Phyllis death hoax.

Jeremy is dead. Phyllis knows that because she had to kill him in self-defense. Phyllis and Summer spoke about a plan where the man Jeremy hired, Carson, could be paid off to serve as a witness. The pitch would have Carson claim he was an eyewitness to Phyllis defending herself against Jeremy’s attempts to kill her.

Tucker’s knowledge of Carson’s involvement in Phyllis’ faked death in the created ambulance crash and fire takes this storyline in a similar direction to the path the ambulance traveled after leaving the GC Athletic Club. A supposedly poisoned Phyllis was never in danger but is now.

Phyllis’ deal with Tucker, which involves using Carson as was the plan before St. John’s character inserted himself into the plan, is risky. But she has little leverage based on the multiple crimes she committed.

GC’s returned District Attorney, Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell), and the city’s lead detective, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), have no sympathy for Phyllis.

Christine holds a deep grudge against her for many grievances, including being one of two victims, along with Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), of her hit-and-run that never resulted in justice being served. Chance knows he was used by numerous people in the recent past and wants to hold Phyllis accountable.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tucker McCall Attempting To Provide Overwhelming Evidence

Tucker’s goal has nothing to do with clearing Phyllis. As he told the love of his life, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), he wants to use Phyllis’ situation to coerce her to help them get Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

If successful, Tucker wants to provide evidence that overwhelms Ashley. St. John’s character wants to demonstrate that he will go to any lengths to help Ashley achieve her goals and with that, prove his love beyond any reasonable doubt on Y&R.
