The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will force the issue and break up with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Sally seems torn between Nick and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) even though she denies it, Nick thinks she needs space to decide between them!

Even though Sally thought of her concern and sympathy for Adam as being exactly that, concern and sympathy, Nick saw it as her still having romantic feelings.

They argued about that a bit, and Nick even hunted down Adam at the bar in the Genoa City Athletic Club and told him to stay away from her.

Sally was relieved Nick didn’t hit Adam like she was afraid he would, he was so angry; but Nick can’t stand the thought of her torn between him and Adam!

Nick knew he had to do something drastic to force the issue because he could see too much emotional connection to Adam in Sally.

So he decides to break up with her until she makes up her mind which one, him or Adam, she really wants to be with.

Sally has tried every way she knows to convince Nick that she wants to stay with him, not with his brother, but she hasn’t been able to get through Nick’s jealousy.

She’s blindsided and shocked when Nick tells her he has decided to break up with her to give her space to decide who she really loves and wants to be with.

Nick just cannot or will not believe her and things get confrontational-Sally doesn’t like this side of Nick and she’s never seen it before; can’t he just believe her?

Cannot she care about Adam without it being romantic, after all they have a bond through their miscarried baby girl!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sally Spectra Is Angered At Nick Newman

Sally loves Nick but still has some attachments to Adam, doesn’t Nick have attachments to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) through their children?

She doesn’t understand why Nick seems so threatened by a parental bond with Adam because of the baby they lost.

Even when that happened, Nick wasn’t the one who was there for her in her time of great need, Adam was-Nick was involved trying to save Sharon and their daughter.

Perhaps that is the answer for Sally-Adam was there and Nick was not, even though those were extenuating circumstances she couldn’t hold against him.

After all, when Adam broke up with her he thought he was doing it for her own good-kind of like Nick breaking up with her now!
