This is the present question in the viewers’ minds. There have been hints that she could return to shake things up in Genoa City. One fan took to the Soap Central forums to bring up this question. They wonder if Leanna Love is returning as part of the 50th anniversary or if she will become a full-time cast member.

“Does this mean Leanna Love is back full-time?” reads the title of the thread. “I hope these flashbacks and recent scenes of Leanna Love mean that Barbara Crampton is back on YR as a regular. It would be nice to have her around causing trouble and connecting with Victor, Jack, Nikki, and Ashley like the good old days of the late 80s and 90s.”

Other Y&R fans would love to see Leanna back on the show. They hope it means that she comes back. They loved it when she showed up at the gala. Hopefully, the actress is no longer on a recurring role.

“I hope she comes back too and the actress who plays her has barely aged,” one fan noted.

There are still doubts as to whether Leanna Love would return to The Young and the Restless. It could’ve been just a fun way to bring up the character. One fan wrote, “I doubt she is back. It would be fun if they used her from time to time.”

There are also some fans who could do without the character. They argue that there are enough “mean girls” in Genoa City with the likes of Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas), Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
