The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Kyle learning a shocking new truth about his parents.Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was horrified enough when he learned that his parents were actually sleeping together and tried not to think about the romantic time Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) were having hiding out at the Abbott cabin.

What he never imagined was that his dad would get down on one knee and beg his mother to marry  him again since that didn’t go very well for them in the past.

After Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) tricks them into believing Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) is no longer around and they are in the clear, Jack and Diane return home and Diane is smart enough to hide her engagement ring, but that doesn’t stop Jack from telling Kyle the good news, and needless to say, Kyle is less than impressed. He never wanted this and now he wants it less than ever.

Y&R Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Tries To Parent His Parents

Kyle can remember how his parents didn’t get along and he realizes they are better off as friends rather than husband and wife.

“It’s his biggest fear that his parents will hurt each other and he loses his mother again,” Michael Mealor said in the March 20, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “They only recently told Kyle that they are in a relationship. He didn’t have to agree with it, but he accepted it because he loves both his parents.”

But finding out they plan to marry again is a whole other situation.

“As far as Kyle is concerned, there’s still a lot that can go wrong,” Mealor said. “You can have the best of intentions and strive for not letting anything get in your way but certain things are just out of your control.”

Kyle tells his parents his fears, but they are going to fall on deaf ears as danger lurks just around the corner in the form of Jeremy.
