Fans who follow the actress on Instagram know that Hope isn’t pregnant. Not only that, fellow cast member Melissa Claire Egan, who plays the role of Chelsea, recently shared a photo that proves that Hope isn’t pregnant. In the photo, both ladies were showing off their baby bumps. But Egan captioned her tweet, “One real bump, one fake bump!” Egan is pregnant with her second child in real life. Meanwhile, Hope is only wearing pregnancy pads.

There are cases when the sudser includes an actress’ real-life pregnancy in her character’s storyline, just like what happened to Jaqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester). When she got pregnant with her fourth child, the writers of the soap wrote it in as Steffy’s second pregnancy.
