Bregman celebrates her 40th anniversary on the hit CBS soap. Her character will also receive a Lifetime Achievement Award for Leadership in Fashion. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Tracey says that she’s definitely touched by all of the love that she’s been getting. She stold the publication, “I loved doing the special episode for Christian J. LeBlanc and I’m very flattered that the show would give this much attention to Lauren.”

Even though the awards ceremony will take place off camera, Tracey says that her fans will definitely feel as though they are a part of the celebration. She said, “Thorugh all of these wonderful flashbacks, the audience will get a peek into Lauren’s colorful past. It’s a pretty extraordinary feat to go through 40 years of material to find these great moments for fans to relive. You are going tosee a lot of shoulder pads and different hairstyles. I laughed out loud at a couple of them and I think long term and new viewers will really enjoy the episode.”
