Y&R Spoilers: Diane Arrested, Jeremy Sets Ex Partner Up?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will face severe consequences for her plot to steal something of value (or cash) from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). After Diane is caught with sticky fingers, she discovers this loyalty test was a setup to send her to prison for turning on Jeremy Stark (Jeremy Stark) six years earlier.

Diane’s plan to steal from Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) wife is risky. Victor wouldn’t hesitate to crush Diane like a bug when he discovers her theft. There is no love lost between Diane and Victor, so that it would be an easy decision for him.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers– Nikki Newman Theft Plot Fails

Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) believed Nikki was a good target because of her affiliation with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and their plot to drive her out of town. Jack trusts Diane’s instincts, but he has reservations about the crime and how Nikki will react to it.

When the theft fails, and Nikki discovers Diane tried to steal from her, Diane will panic. Young and the Restless spoilers state that Diane believed she could steal from the billionaire’s wife and would never find out. She never considered that she would get caught.

Y&R Spoilers– Is The Theft A Setup To Send Diane Jenkins To Prison?

Diane believes that the theft operation is a loyalty test. After sending Jeremy to prison for six years, she can see how he would have trust issues with her. Instead of refusing to commit another crime, Diane carefully plots a crime to show Jeremy she’s still on his side.

Considering how quickly Jeremy asked Diane to commit a crime and his unwillingness to participate, it screams setup. But Diane remains focused on regaining Jeremy’s trust.

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Jeremy could set Diane up to send her to prison. That would be the ultimate payback for betraying his trust six years ago.

Nikki will likely press charges against Diane. Summer Newman (Allison lanier) would ask her grandma to press charges and eliminate the danger surrounding Diane. However, Jack might pressure Nikki to let it go, hoping he can keep Diane out of jail.
