The Young and the Restless (Y&R) fans wonder if Avery Bailey Clark (Jessica Collins) should’ve returned to Genoa City. She would’ve been the perfect person to help Phyllis Summers with her case.
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) dropped her and had Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) step in. This twist shocked and confused the viewers. Keep on reading to learn more.
The Young And The Restless: Should Avery Return?
The Young and the Restless fans want Avery back. They believe she would be the perfect person to take over Phyllis’ case.
One fan brought up this idea on the Soap Central forums. Especially in place of the Y&R’s 50th anniversary, it would be great to have Avery back on the show.
“Would it have made more sense to bring Avery back at Phyllis’s lawyer?” the original poster argued. “I’m still happy Heather is back and would like to see her stick around but I still think it would’ve made more sense for Avery to be her lawyer since she is Phyllis’s sister after all.”
Other Y&R fans took to the thread to share their thoughts. Most of them agree that Avery should’ve returned instead of Heather.
This shocking development in Phyllis’ case has confused fans since the two don’t get along. It seems the actress is busy with other projects, which is why she couldn’t return.
“I wish the actress was available. I loved Avery so much until she started with that cupcake nonsense. I remember Avery’s apartment had a magazine rack by the front door that always had a copy of Tempo Magazine on it. Good ol’ Brooke English’s rag from AMC lol,” one user noted.
Some fans feel that it wouldn’t be a good idea. Especially since Avery is Phyllis’s sister. One fan argued, “It’s never a good idea to have a family member defend you for murder. No to Avery’s return.”
Y&R Spoilers: Did Phyllis Forget She Had A Sister?
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Phyllis forgot she had a sister. One fan asked, “Did they even tell Avery that her sister was missing?
She seems to be a forgotten sibling.” Avery should’ve run back to Genoa City the moment Phyllis faked her death. That was a huge detail the writers left out.
“That’s a great question. I haven’t heard any mention of Avery during this Phyllis mess! I agree that she is definitely the forgotten sibling,” one user responded. “Not surprised. They never mentioned Avery being told that her sister was in a coma (when they switched to Gina in the role),” another mentioned.
Most Y&R fans are happy to see Heather back. They would love to see more characters like Avery and Heather on the show that share a connection with the other characters instead of new ones. Do you think Avery should return to Genoa City? Sound off below in the comment section.
