The Young And The Restless spoilers indicate that Chelsea Lawson’s portrayer, Melissa Claire Egan, and her husband, Matt Katrosar, are expecting their second child.

The Young and The Restless spoilers reveal that Melissa is pregnant in a photo of her with Caden where she has one arm around him and one cradling her baby bump. Egan posted, “Looks like we’re just destined to have August babies! So grateful and excited to be adding another cub to our family of Leo baby boys Caden’s gonna be a big brother!”

Egan also revealed that the baby is due in six months, around Caden’s second birthday. Egan also announced that the baby is another boy. Of course, now that poses the question of whether or not the baby will be written into the script. After all, Chelsea has recently reconnected with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), will these two add a new baby to their family?

Y&R Spoilers – Congratulations From Co-Stars

After Melissa’s announcement, Y&R co-stars such as Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair), Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher), Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Mitchell), and Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra) were among the first to offer their congratulations to their friend. Of course, Rikaart seems to be confusing his roles with his, “I really wanted to be the one to break the news but hugely excited for you all regardless.” This comment sounds like something from Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) gossip column.

Alicia Minshew (Kendall Hart, AMC) commented, “Yesss, so great that you can tell the world now! We are thrilled for you! You look so gorgeous and Caden is ridiculous!” Egan is thrilled to be adding to her family. Interestingly, the boys’ birthdays will be close together and both aren’t far away from their parents’ anniversary either.

Katrosar, who is a television and ad sales executive, and Egan were married on July 26, 2014. Their son, Caden Robert was born on August 21, 2021. Caden was a true blessing after two miscarriages and other fertility issues. Of course, Egan is thrilled with this new little blessing as well. It is great that she can get past these issues and have children finally.

Egan said a few months after Caden’s birth, “It’s everything they said it would be. Of course, it’s exhausting and I’m definitely tired, but it’s so worth it. I can’t wait to get home to see him. It still feels so surreal that he’s ours. He’s a really good boy and we’re so grateful for him.”
