The Young And The Restless Headed To Primetime

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that the show’s 50th anniversary should provide some incredible entertainment and drama! The soap already revealed a slue of character returns for the milestone show, including Michael Damian (Danny Romalotti), his sister Patty Weaver (Gina Roma), Veronica Redd (Mamie Johnson) Tricia Cast (Nina Webster), and Barbara Crampton (Leanna Love); now, it seems that Entertainment Tonight (ET) will also air a special dedicated to the soap and its 50th birthday celebrations.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – When Is The Entertainment Tonight Special Airing?

Y&R spoilers state that the actual Y&R show commemorating their 50th anniversary will start airing on Wednesday, March 22nd, even though the daytime drama’s “official” anniversary date is Sunday, March 26th. The bicentennial gala, which is the focal point of the soap’s birthday, will likely extend for days in Genoa City.

When it comes to ET’s special, it’ll take place at 8 p.m. (EST) on Monday, March 27th, on CBS. ET correspondent Nischelle Turner will host the entire spectacular from the Y&R set.

Y&R Spoilers – What Should Fans Expect From The ET Special?

Time to get excited! During the ET one-hour special, Turner will interview top Y&R stars from over the past five decades, including the Moustache himself, Eric Braeden (Victor Newman), Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott), Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott), and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman).

Fans will also get a tour of the show’s backstage area. In addition, the ET special will review the biggest angles and arcs from the Y&R over the past 50 years. This includes a highlight reel of the best romances, most iconic weddings, groundbreaking moments, and bitter feuds. The show will also offer tributes for the late and great Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters) and Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor).

ET’s Y&R’s 50th Special will be available on Paramount+ for subscribers on Premium, and through CBS, as well as CBS on-demand. Essential tier users can stream the special the day after it airs.
