Fortunately, Pedro Pascal’s happy demeanor helped him when he couldn’t get access to an art exhibition, all about him.
He tried to attend the art exhibition with his friends, Russell Tovey and Robert Diament, but alas, it was closed.
Meanwhile, as you can see from the images in the artist’s Instagram, the exhibition was not only great art but also humorous, like Pascal himself.
As Narcos and Game of Thrones fans know, when off the screen, Pedro Pascal is one of the happiest people in the world.
However, the star of The Last of Us was disappointed on Sunday, August 6, when he tried to visit an art exhibition dedicated to him.
However, it didn’t stop him from smiling, alongside his friends Russell Tovey and Robert Diament.
However, he wasn’t actually blocked, per se, as the Rhodes Gallery in Margate, Kent, is closed on Sundays.
Robert Diament, who is friendly with both Pascal and the artist, took them along for the exhibition, but they couldn’t get past the door.
The exhibition is titled “ADHD Hyper Fixation and why it looks like I love Pedro Pascal” and was created by an Essex artist, Heidi Gentle Burrell, 45, from Wickford, who, according to Essex Live, was also absent.
Heidi only found out that Pascal had tried to visit her exhibition with friends, through a photo on Instagram on August 7. Excited, she commented:
It was absolutely fantastic. Although I can imagine he’s slightly embarrassed, with all the art being about him! I’m gutted he showed up on a Sunday when the gallery was closed. I’d love for Robert to bring him along when we’re actually open.
Meanwhile, Burrell began focusing on her art in the summer of 2020, as an outlet for her ADHD.
However, as a huge fan, her fixation on Pedro led her to create the special exhibition.
Throughout the exhibition, Pascal is featured in several artistic forms, including both painting and Photoshop.
Heidi explained:
So many lovely people have messaged me in the last couple of days. I completely understand why Robert didn’t tell me he was going with Pedro – they want their privacy. But I’m a bit gutted I missed them!
While Heidi’s previous work was based on characters from popular culture, like Bert and Ernie of Sesame Street, this one was different and unique.
She told Essex Live that she has previously watched Pascale in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and crime dramas in which she says he was really good.
However, she did say she wouldn’t call herself an obsessed fan, but does hyper-fixate when capturing him in art.
Meanwhile, Jessica Rhodes-Robb of the Rhodes Gallery, saw Heidi’s work on Instagram and invited her to exhibit.
Meanwhile, Burrell met Robert Diament while setting up the exhibit, which led to Pedro’s failed visit. Meanwhile, the gallery regretted its closure at the time but celebrated the exhibit on social media.
Pedro starred as Oberyn Martell in season 4 of Game of Thrones and also played Javier Peña in the Netflix series, Narcos.
He also starred in a slew of movies, including Kingsman: The Golden Circle, The Equalizer 2, and Wonder Woman 1984.
Pascal is also known for his role in the Mandalorian. More recently, he gained even more fame in the post-apocalyptic drama series, The Last of Us, alongside Bella Ramsey.
