British royal family news shows that Meghan Markle has a connection to alleged rapist and UK comedian, Russell Brand.

According to the shaggy haired man once married to Katy Perry, he and Meghan “snogged.” Let’s break down what this disturbing story is all about.

According to Page Six, “During a 2018 interview that has resurfaced amid his rape scandal, the comedian bragged about kissing the Duchess of Sussex nearly a decade prior.”

He reportedly talked about Meghan on the British talk show Loose Women: “She was in a film that I was in … ‘Get Him to the Greek’ it was called. Bloody good film.” He made his comments one week before Markle married Prince Harry.

A quick check of Meghan’s accomplishments show that the former basic cable actress had an uncredited appearance in the 2010 movie. In 2011 she hit the big time with her best-known role on the cable drama “Suits.”

Brand added “I didn’t know her at the time because she wasn’t married to a royal person, so I wasn’t paying attention.”

The “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” star stated he was “out of it” on set, referencing his struggles with substance abuse.

Still he allegedly remembered one scene well enough: “I think I planted one on her in the scene. … It was scripted in the scene. I only know this because I think I saw a clip of it somewhere.”

This weekend an incendiary article accused Brand of “abusive behavior including rape, sexual assault and grooming a 16-year-old between the years of 2006 and 2013.” During this time period he was married to superstar singer Katy Perry, a marriage that lasted two years.

After publication of the accusatory article, Brand “vehemently denied the accusations and insisted that all of his sexual encounters and relationships were consensual” although he admitted “I was very, very promiscuous.”

Perry has not issued a statement on her former husband’s situation but numerous outlets are reprinting a comment she made in the past that is now raising eyebrows.

According to numerous stories, Perry stated after the divorce that she knew a “secret” about Brand, and social media would like to know what that is in light of the current accusations leveled at Brand.
