The prince alleges that because his phone was hacked, a lot of details about his personal life were made public thanks to some very unethical journalists in the tabloid media industry. And because of it, he feels as though he truly can’t trust anyone in his life anymore. At least, that’s what some royal experts believe. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
In an interview with GB News, royal expert Michael Cole suggests that Prince Harry is having a very hard time moving on with his life, simply because it was ruined in so many ways by the British tabloid press.
As many fans know by now, the Duke of Sussex is suing the Mirror Group Newspapers for allegedly hacking his personal phone and using other illegal ways to infiltrate his personal life. However, the lawsuit might also pose some ramifications for the prince, too.
Cole put it this way, “We’ve gone into a lot of things about his young life, such as taking drugs which must have been extremely uncomfortable for him. It also of course has ramifications for his residency in America where they don’t like people coming in with previous drug use. Prince Harry is furious, he’s incandescent, he believes his life has been ruined by the press.”
Cole continued, “But he’s accused these people of being criminals. If you’re going to do that, you better come with the evidence.”
Of course, Prince Harry himself has not made any comments about the lawsuit or any of the criticism he’s gotten and at this point, it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Once the verdict comes in from court, we will definitely update you with all of the latest details. Watch this space.
