The British Press Is Trying To Make Queen Camilla Into A Fashion Icon

We know that she looks good, but does she really look that good? According to some royal critics and fashionistas out there, the answer is a strong maybe. Apparently, the British press is trying to make Queen Camilla as the new royal fashion icon.

While a lot of people would agree that Camilla might never be able to achieve the same kind of status that Princess Diana once had, some people think that Camilla is paving the way for at least her generation of style-watchers who want to copy what’s in her closet. According to The Telegraph, Camilla is looking to steal the royal spotlight, at least when it comes to her sense of style. And so far it seems to be working. While the Queen of England doesn’t really have a huge wardrobe, she has been experimenting with different looks that best suit her.

So far some of things that have worked included dresses with fuller busts and bolder colors and hues like deep blue and purple. Camilla has even gone out of her comfort zone and wore a jumpsuit for the very first time, much to the surprise of her royal fans.

Not only that, Queen Camilla seems to have taken a page out of the style infleuncer’s handbook. That’s because she’s been doing a lot of “shoulder robing” lately.

The Telegraph even put it this way, “ Camilla added style tweaks that would even make a woman half her age look instantly cooler. When she felt chilly, the Queen draped her trench coat around her shoulders. It’s what fashion editors call shoulder robing and is practiced by all the most-photographed influencers and insiders at fashion week. She also carried a handbag by Bottega Veneta.”

If that weren’t enough, Camilla has also become the queen of orthopedic footwear. She knows what she likes and she’s growing in confidence,” one source even said. We definitely believe it!
