The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) appears to have set herself up for enduring heartbreak. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) is on a power play after Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) put Taylor in the penalty box.

Earlier this year Taylor was set to finally remarry Ridge. Then, just minutes before the ceremony, Taylor learned information about their son that involved Brooke.

Taylor’s decision to withhold what she knew about Thomas’ attempted frame of Brooke, through his use of a voice-altering smartphone application, proved catastrophic.

The hardest of hardcore anti-Taylor viewers might not be willing to admit that Thomas put his mother in a terrible position. Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) learned what happened before Taylor. That was a problem as well.

Taylor was conflicted because her longtime dream of remarrying Ridge was endangered. So, she rationalized not sharing vital information with him before the ceremony.

Sadly, there is no way to know how Ridge would have reacted if Taylor did tell him what Thomas did to Brooke. Ridge is not holding a grudge. But now sees Taylor in another bad light because of her broken pact with Brooke.

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Created Lingering Problems

Thomas’ relentlessly reckless behavior put everyone he was connected to at that point in the plot in bad spots. Douglas was the poorest soul on record because his father pressured him to accept what he did Brooke.

Thankfully, Douglas talked with Steffy. She pushed the issue, knowing that Brooke was wronged.

Taylor’s squeaky-clean image has been tarnished twice. This second instance, where she arguably violated Brooke’s trust, could have been explained away if it were not for the remarriage incident.

The reason why Ridge has not been married to Taylor in decades could be considered simple. It is the same reason why conversations Taylor and Ridge have about their present and potential future are forever limited.

Ridge only wanted to reconcile with Taylor in Aspen, Colorado because he felt Brooke betrayed him. That reinforced Taylor as Ridge’s fallback option.

Brooke is Ridge’s soul mate. While Ridge, Steffy, and Thomas would not want Taylor to leave Los Angeles, California, Brooke might endorse it. It could be Taylor’s only perceived option if Ridge and Brooke reunite, with momentum moving in that direction on B&B.
