The Bold And The Beautiful spoilers indicate that Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer) has announced that he and his wife Nicole “Nikki” Lampson after ten years of marriage. Scott announced the separation today via Soap Opera Digest. The couple married on October 20, 2012, and share a 6-year-old son, Ford.

The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers reveal that Scott confirmed that they had not only separated but had been separated for some time now. Separations are hard on everyone involved. However, Clifton says about Nikki, “She remains my best friend in the world, my partner in crime, and my closest confidante.”

Scott says that this decision has deepened their love and respect for one another. They are committed to each other’s happiness and the well-being of their son. Scott revealed a great deal about the separation in his announcement but also asks that everyone give them privacy and respect their wishes at this time.

B&B Spoilers – Scott Clifton’s Daytime Career

Scott began playing Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) son, Dillon Quartermaine in 2003. Of course, his father, Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) was later revealed to be a serial killer. Dillon was with Georgie Jones (Lindze Letherman) for a time. Lulu Spencer (ex-Emme Rylan) got pregnant by Dillon but aborted their child.

Dillon was also involved with Kiki Jerome (ex-Hayley Erin) at one time as well. Dillon was a much-loved character and fans were very upset when Scott vacated the role. Of course, Dillon was recast a few years later. When Clifton left GH, he went on to play Schuyler Joplin on One Life to Live before taking the role of Liam Spencer on The Bold and The Beautiful.

The Bold And The Beautiful – Scott Clifton’s Time As Liam Spencer

Scott began playing Liam in 2010 and was quickly thrown into the triangle of Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), Liam, and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). This went on for years before he finally settled down. Liam and Hope have a wonderful family but that didn’t stop him from cheating with Steffy when he thought Hope had cheated on him.

Of course, Clifton plays the son of business mogul Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) who is currently shacking up with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Liam and his brother Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) along with the Logan family and the Forresters are all currently trying to save Bill from himself and have Sheila put away. Liam is certainly not happy with his father blackmailing his ex-wife.

While Liam’s life is often filled with drama and chaos, we wish Scott and his family the best during this difficult time.
