The Bold and the Beautiful fans learned during the week of August 28th that Eric Forrester was hiding a secret health battle. He told RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) that he had arthritis.

This health problem made him irritable and hard to work with lately. At first, viewers assumed that Eric exhibited early signs of dementia, especially with his mood.

He got frustrated with his son Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Eric felt like Ridge wanted to push him out of Forrester Creations. Ridge desperately wants to be at the top of the company.

The B&B previews don’t look good as they show the father-and-son duo in a bitter feud. They will battle to become the best fashion designer of Forrester Creation.

Now, Eric needs RJ’s help. He asked his grandson to illustrate designs for him. He didn’t realize how good of an artist RJ was at drawing.

However, RJ rejected the family business in the past. He wanted to break out on his own and become an influencer instead.

This storyline might push RJ into the spotlight. That means he could step onto Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) toes, especially since he’s the lead designer of Hope for the Future.

Thomas has gotten a lot of praise for reinvigorating the dead fashion label. He also reinvigorated Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) personal life as they continued their affair behind closed doors.

B&B Spoilers – Does Eric Forrester Have Another Health Battle?

On the Thursday, August 31st episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Eric and his granddaughter Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) shared a cute moment at the mansion.

They both sat on the couch reading the newspaper and drinking tea. Ridge could see their similar traits.

Steffy and Eric had a conversation about her situation involving her husband Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). At one point, Eric forgot his great-grandson’s name, Hayes.

Some B&B fans didn’t catch that moment, but it was brought up quickly in conversation. This has some viewers wondering if Eric is hiding another health problem from his family.

Steffy didn’t notice since she had so much on her mind lately. She was debating about whether to return home to the cliff house, much to the dismay of her father and grandfather.
