Hayes suddenly got a call explaining that she did great, but was no longer needed. No real explanation was given and now fans are wondering what that means for Taylor. Will there be a recast or will Taylor’s exit be mentioned after the fact by another character?

Emmy Nominations

B&B spoilers reveal that Allen joined the soap in 2021. Allen was to replace Hunter Tylo, who played the role for years. Fans had mixed reactions to this news, but most of the beef targeted the writing and storylines, not the actress.

In any case, Allen is up for her first Emmy. So, the timing seems strange for the actress.

B&B Spoilers: No Contract Renewal

Allen went to social media to address fans’ questions about her not appearing in the show. Allen explained that she found out in October 2023 that her contract wasn’t being renewed. Allen spoke to Deadline, 

“The craziest thing is right before I got dropped, I did the cast photo shoot, and then the next week they called and said, ‘we’re not going to keep your third year and thank you very much, you were wonderful and thank you, goodbye. And I was like, what?”

Confusion & Uncertainty

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that fans aren’t the only ones confused by Taylor’s sudden disappearance. The actress is also confused!

“I think the hardest thing for me has been trying to stay quiet. I haven’t known what to say. And then when I got dropped, I was like, ‘Oh, okay, is the show going to announce this?’ But they never did. And then on December 10, just recently, it was Taylor’s two-year anniversary [of being back on show], and I came back to Twitter for the first time since June to engage with fans again, just to say thank you because there were so many congratulations and people saying, ‘I can’t wait to see you back on screen’ and ‘when are you coming back?’”

Allen added later in the interview,

“I don’t think anybody [on the show knows] because I would imagine if anybody knew that my contract was dropped, I would’ve heard from everybody. But I didn’t text everybody. I’ve been in a place of not knowing what to do or say. That’s really the truth of it. And here we are on this amazing day, and I am so excited. And tomorrow I take off. I’m moving to Atlanta, Georgia. It just seemed like the perfect time to go. It’s turning the page on this really interesting chapter, and now we’re going to the next one.” 

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Taylor Hayes’ Future

A spokesman for B&B told Deadline that they do not comment on casting. This is common in the soap opera industry. However, the outlet stated that an inside said Allen was offered the opportunity to stay on as recurring, but rejected it. Allen’s rep clarified and explained Allen was offered three lines after “after a couple months of nothing.”

It’s not clear what the writers plan to do with Taylor’s character. Is Taylor being recast? Will Taylor jet off to find proof to send Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) away for good?

Will Taylor have a nervous breakdown or be kidnapped again? It’s a big mystery, just as Allen being suddenly cut from the soap.
