Suits Reboot Arises, Will Meghan Markle Return?

Suits Reboot In The Works?

Peacock is currently promoting old episodes of Suits. Now, there are talks about a possible reboot in the works.

The legal drama premiered on USA Network and is written by Aaron Korsh. It ran for nine seasons from 2011 to 2019.

Suits found new life on Netflix. Somehow, it’s also on Peacock since it’s attached to the NBCUniversal brand.

Since it launched on June 17, 2023, it attracted over 3.1 billion viewers. This has some wondering if the show will have its own reboot.

Netflix is the home of reboots. Even Peacock has brought some of its old content back. The show’s executive producer had an exclusive interview with TVLine. He talked about the idea of bringing back the show after its surprising success.

“You know, I’ve mentioned to Aaron that I keep, in this ear of reboots and reunions and all this other stuff, that I’m expecting a call at some point,” he told the outlet. “But, I’m not aware of any serious conversations. It’s just one of those things where, in this day and age, you wouldn’t be surprised if somebody called you someday. But so far, nothing that I’m aware of.”

Would Meghan Markle Reprise Her Role?

There are questions as to whether Meghan Markle would reprise her role on Suits. She left the show in 2017 after news of her engagement to Prince Harry. Since she’s no longer attached to the British Royal Family, she’s a free agent. Meghan can do whatever she wants these days.

However, the executive producer has his doubts. He believes that it would be difficult to approach Meghan about getting her back on the show. “I would assume that’s just not possible,” he added.

The former actress said she would rather focus on philanthropy. As for Harry, he didn’t feel comfortable watching Meghan’s love scenes with other men in the series. The pair has to choose a new endeavor since their podcast is canceled. They launched their docuseries, Harry & Meghan, also on Netflix.
