Sister Wives Stars Meri & Kody Brown Formally Announce Their Split

Sister Wives star Kody Brown is on a roll as he posted on Instagram twice in just over a year and the latest one shows he formally split from Meri Brown. In November 2021, he announced his split from Christine Brown. So far, no formal announcement of the split between Kody and his second wife, Janelle, happened.

Judging by the statement that the TLC stars issued on social media, they had not been ready to share the termination of their spiritual marriage until now. While the announcement on January 10 talked about a report by an outlet that wasn’t authorized by them, fans saw her talking about the split with the one-on-one host, Suykanya. Well, it puts paid to the idea that Season 18 might involve Meri trying to get Kody to change his mind.

Sister Wives fans saw that in the TLC show, both of them agreed that they were not together. In fact, Meri said that he told her to go. That came out suddenly and it might have been cobbled together for the one-on-one Tell-All because of a report by People Magazine. Since then, Meri Brown has been posting her usual cryptic posts about courage and strength. But for a change, on Tuesday, she went straight out and shared the post about their formal separation.

The two stars took to Instagram and both posted up the same message. The card said, “In light of a recent unapproved press release, we feel compelled to share our own truth, in our own way, and in our own timing.” The jointly issued statement added, “After more than a decade of working on our relationship in our own unique ways, we have made the decision to permanently terminate our marriage relationship.”

Next, the Sister Wives stars spoke about “kindness” and “respect.” Additionally, the TLC couple will work hard to heal the various relationships in the family. And, they want to move forward in an atmosphere of “forgiveness, grace, and love.” In her caption, Meri talked about not wanting people to troll Kody or anyone, because they are “real people.”As far as she’s concerned, “there is peace in my heart, and I hold no animosity toward Kody.”

Sister Wives – Missed The Memo?

Sister Wives fans who went to read the same post on Kody’s  Instagram missed the memo about being kind. There, they slammed Robyn Brown for getting rid of the rest of the wives. Meanwhile, on Meri’s post, a lot of people wished her well. Mind you, more than a few people wrote comments like this one: “Hopefully you will apologize to Christine now since you told her it wasn’t ok to leave the marriage but here you are.”

Well, if Meri’s all about fixing relationships, perhaps she already chatted with Christine about their differences.
