Sister Wives Star Meri Brown Posts Birthday Message To Bonnie

Sister Wives fans heard that Meri Brown lost her mom, Bonnie Joyce Ahlstrom Barber, just days after she turned 76 years old. At the time, she managed her daughter’s BNB, Lizzie’s Heritage Inn, in Parowan, Utah, and naturally, Meri was broken by the unexpected death. Now that two years have passed, Meri sent her a birthday message in an Instagram post.

Although Bonnie passed away in 2021, the TLC show revisited the sad time in September last year. Meri tried her best, but her mom passed away before she could get to the hospital to say her last farewell. Actually, she shared the pain of the death and the grieving with her fans on Instagram. However, the retelling of the story of driving to her mother’s side had more than a few TLC fans in tears in Season 17. Apparently, Bonnie Ahlstrom Barber passed away after suffering a prolonged heart attack.

Sister Wives fans know that Meri claimed that she couldn’t leave the family of Kody Brown and some people suspected that she feared her mom might cut her off. And, that might have been too hard to bear. Did you know that right up to her death, Bonnie remained a member of the Apostolic United Brethren Church? Over the years, Meri has often talked about how her mom as a wonderful Christian lady. Naturally, she lives in the hope that her mom is still alive in a heavenly body somewhere.

Humans everywhere turned to one faith or another to try and find a way to stop thinking about non-existence. In fact, even those who don’t believe in any sort of God still hope that they live on as a form of energy. While Christians are often mocked for their beliefs, in times of sorrow, it’s nice to believe that loved ones are aware of those they left behind. So, on her mom’s birthday, Meri wrote her a message as if she was still living around the corner.

On March 9, Sister Wives star Meri took to her Instagram and shared a photo of her mom looking fresh and kind. In her caption, she wrote, “Happy Birthday Mom!” Then in her tribute, she added, “The most amazing, loving, kind, giving, selfless, Christ-centered, person I had the pleasure of knowing in this lifetime.” Of course, she also talked about how much she misses “talking to her, learning from her, and being inspired by her wisdom.”

Some Sister Wives fans were fortunate to meet Meri;’s mom when they stayed that the BNB. Meanwhile, others knew her through Meri’s various posts. So, a lot of comments arrived on the birthday post. One follower said, “I Loved when she made an appearance with you … such a humble loving lady … love from Ireland ?? x.”

Another fan said sweetly, “Bless your heart. ?? I miss my mom so much. I understand completely. ??.”
