He first married Meri Brown, whom he shared one child with. In 1993, he got hitched to Janelle Brown and shared six children.

In the following year, he married Christine Brown and got six children, and finally, he tied the knot with Robyn Brown last 2014.

They have two children and Kody became a stepdad to Robyn’s three children from a previous relationship.

In his latest interview with PEOPLE, Kody opened up about his desire to be with Janelle again following their breakup last December 2022. “I’m still looking for reconciliation with Janelle. I won’t say she’s been wishy-washy about the departure,” he uttered.

After all the multiple challenges they had in their marriage, the popular patriarch believed that it was not enough reason for them to break apart.

If ever they will be back in each other’s arms again, Kody wanted to embrace the “new normal” of their relationship.

Though he was “moving forward” with his life, the reality star admitted that “it’s been a dark time” for him when he lost his second wife.

Moreover, he stated that he is not looking for a new wife and hopes to make things work with Janelle and his current wife, Robyn.

“Any effort I would ever think in that direction would need to be put into my relationship with Janelle and certainly my relationship with Robyn to maintain that relationship as well,” Kody stated.

In other news, the TLC star voiced his thoughts about his former wives after calling it quits with Christine, Janelle, and Meri. He revealed that his relationship with the three is like a rollercoaster ride – fun and challenging.

However, the problems were too strong which eventually led them to break each other’s hearts. In his latest interview, Kody opened up about his regrets and desire to save his family.

“I could have done a lot better. Every day I think about a place where I would’ve managed things differently, if I would’ve said something differently, we might have moved forward in a different way. It’s hard to say that because you get in a place where you feel like, ‘Is my life still headed the direction that it’s supposed to?’” the patriarch told PEOPLE.
