Sister Wives spoilers reveal, according to The Sun, the TLC personality popped up in a post shared to her friend Jenn Sullivan’s Instagram Stories on Friday, January 13. The mother of one reportedly returned to social media in a post sharing her birthday party following her split from Kody.

She also recently slammed Sister Wives for making it appear as if she was announcing the split during the One on One special that dropped in December 2022. Meri looked in good spirits in the picture, smiling at the camera ahead of her celebratory birthday weekend.

In the photo that included Meri, her BFF Jenn, and another yet unidentified woman also appeared. The caption for the story read: “Ya’ll we are celebrating @therealmeribrown birthday all weekend, so we will see you next week!”

Meri is set to turn 52 on Monday, January 16 and she too shared the post on her IG Stories but did not elaborate on what the “celebration” would entail. These posts come mere days after the TLC personality slammed critics for their negative remarks about her and her ex-husband Kody, 53.

The former couple shared a joint statement via Instagram announcing that they were officially no more. The post read: “In light of a recent unapproved press release, we feel compelled to share our own truth, in our own way, and in our own timing.

“After more than a decade of working on our relationship in our own unique ways, we have made the decision to permanently terminate our marriage relationship.”

The former couple added: “During this process, we are committed to kindness and respect toward each other and all members of our family. We are also committed to the continued healing of any and all relationships with the family so that we can move forward with forgiveness, grace, and love.”

They signed the joint manifesto “In kindness, Meri and Kody.”

Though the statement about their divorce seemed to be civil enough, Meri took a different, angrier tact in her version’s caption. “Today I reclaim my power,” she wrote before aiming ire at PEOPLE magazine which originally broke the story last month, apparently taking a clip from the One on One special where Meri hints the marriage was over.
