Sister Wives spoilers reveal that, according to Screen Rant, many may be relieved to know that Kody Brown is searching for a new wife, presumably because the show must go on or maybe to keep his remaining wife Robyn Brown happy as she feels cheated out of plural marriage.

The TLC personality is reportedly “definitely actively looking” for a new wife after his splits from Christine, Janelle, and Meri Brown a source claims (via In Touch).

“He’s a proud polygamist, that’s the lifestyle he’s accustomed to and in his mind,” the source claims, adding that the 53-year-old father of 18 would not be “happy” with a monogamous marriage with just his one remaining wife, Robyn Brown (via OK!).

Though Kody already has quite a brood of youngsters, the Brown family patriarch is still reportedly hopeful he’ll find someone new. “Kody may not be a catch to the average, modern woman, but there are plenty of women in this community who would jump at the chance to be one of his wives,” the insider added.

The Sister Wives patriarch married his fourth wife, Robyn, in 2014. He legally divorced his first wife, Meri so that he could marry Robyn and adopt her three children from a previous marriage. Sister Wives fans will recall that, when he did this, it was probably the beginning of the end of his other marriages.

The move caused a rift between the wives that was never resolved. Also worth noting is that Robyn has always maintained that she is only interested in plural marriage.

“I mean, I know this just sounds really funky, but like, I had, you know, people that wanted to date me, and that I was, you know, kind of friendly with or whatever that talked about living, you know … they wanted to get more serious, a couple [of them] wanted to marry me, kind of a thing,” Robyn explained in January 2021.

The mother of three even reportedly turned down romantic partners in the past if favor of finding a polygamous family. She explained in a confessional: “If I wanted to live monogamy, I could have [it],” adding, “I mean, it’s not like I had no other choices. I could have had a very happy, successful relationship with some other men. It’s just the truth, I’m sorry! I hate saying it because it sounds like I’m, like, bragging or something, but I’m not. It’s just, this is the truth.”
