Sister Wives Spoilers: Gwendlyn Brown is once again speaking about her childhood and Kody Brown. Gwendlyn claims that Kody used corporal punishment that left her with bruises a few times. However, Kody also used scare tactics.

Sister Wives Spoilers – Kody Brown Shows His True Colors

When Kody Brown would go on his endless rants last year screaming and berating his wives, Gwendlyn says he was acting more like his true self than ever. According to Gwendlyn, fans didn’t see that in earlier seasons but that was a normal occurrence for Kody to treat his wives in this manner. Fans have certainly paid attention to what Gwendlyn has had to say while watching last season’s shows.

While watching Kody’s infamous rant about “a knife in the kidney” the subject of abuse came up. Gwendlyn posted a video where she discussed forms of punishment in the Brown home while she was a child. Some fans may be surprised by Gwendlyn’s revelations of things that took place in the home compared to how Kody is seen treating his younger children today.

Sister Wives Spoilers – Was Spanking Ok?

Today, parents can certainly get into trouble for spanking a child. Child Protective Services frown on this very badly in most cases. Many believe this is abuse no matter what the parent thinks at the time. Others believe that a true light spanking never really harmed anyone. However, when spanking leads to bruises, something is wrong.

Fans sat up and listened when Gwendlyn started talking about her father spanking her as a child. Gwen also claims to have gotten bruises from Kody’s spankings as well. This did not sit well with fans at all. However, this was not the only form of punishment that Kody used. According to Gwendlyn, Kody would also scare them as punishment as well.

Sister Wives Spoilers – Kody Brown Would Throw His Children?

Gwendlyn further claims that Kody would throw her in the air as punishment as well. Gwen says this was just another scare tactic her father used to keep them in line. A lot of fans have referred to Kody’s punishments as disgusting. Fans do not believe that Kody should have gone this far at all. How could Kody do this to his children?

Fans were quick to ask where Christine was when this was happening. Why would Christine not put a stop to this? Others pointed out that the wives seemed to shut down as well when Kody would start ranting. Things have changed a lot since Kody would treat his children this way. However, this certainly leaves fans wondering if Robyn’s children ever received similar treatment.

None of the wives bothered to confront Kody over his yelling this season. However, Janelle Brown did get up and walk away. Perhaps this is just part of why Kody lost three of his wives this year.
