Sister Wives Spoilers: Fans Slam Kody Brown For Showing ‘Creepy’ And ‘Cringe’ Behavior Around Daughter Aurora

The Monday episode of “Sister Wives” has shown that henceforth, no matter what Kody Brown does be it good or bad, will never sit well with fans of the show.

This might be tied to the events that led to Kody’s three out of four wives leaving him.

Since Kody is the reason for the divorce, it seems like the fans have vowed not to indulge Kody in anything he does.

Sister Wives Spoilers — Kody Brown Took Aurora To Get Her First Piercing

The thing is, due to Kody’s religion which is strictly against female piercings, he banned his wives from piercing their ears.

His first three wives from Meri Brown, 52, to Janelle Brown, 54, to Christine Brown, 51, all had piercings on their ears before getting married to Kody but Kody made sure they removed their earrings before becoming part of his family.

But all those rules changed with Robyn’s arrival in the family. Robyn was allowed to keep her piercings and earrings.

In Kody’s defense, Robyn’s dad took her to get those piercings. In one of his confessionals Kody said, “I want to do my family right, you know? We’re going to play by the rules type of thing.

But then Robyn comes in the family, and Robyn’s got piercings, and her dad took her to get them.”

Accepting Robyn and her piercings got Kody comfortable enough to allow his other wives to go back to wearing earrings.

This episode featured Kody with his last and only remaining wife Robyn’s daughter Aurora out to get the 21-year-old her first piercing.

Speaking to the camera Kody said, “This will be the first time I’ve ever gone with one of my daughters to get their ears pierced,” he proceeded in telling the viewers that before the decision was made he had a long conversation with Aurora about it.

“She was completely bought into what I was saying, and she thought about it a lot and discussed it with me and her mom and said, ‘I want to do it.'”

He also expressed his joy in the fact that Aurora came to seek his permission about it saying he “appreciates the respect.”

Sister Wives Spoilers — Reaction From Fans About The Scene

Taking to a popular Sister Wives forum, fans expressed their distaste for Kody’s actions. One person said, “His gleefulness was so frickin creepy,” another angrily stated, “This was THE. DUMBEST. scene that has EVER been on this show.

So freaking cringy watching a 20-something getting her ears pierced like it was some new interesting concept.”

A third said, “IMO, it was less about Aurora, and more about Kody and Robyn devising a way to show he’s a good father,” and a fourth concurred, “I agree….he looks like such an idiot being so giggly about Aurora getting her ears pierced.”

A fifth opined, “Kody has a very uncomfortable relationship with Aurora and this episode sealed the deal, in my mind. He’s completely obsessed with her purity and obedience.”
