The hype about this season was real and fans wanted to see what caused the failure of Kody’s marriages, but they seemed to be pretty let down when it came to what they watched this week.

The first episode really did seem like a complete recap of everything that happened on the last season of the show.

There were interviews with the Browns and viewers commented on Reddit that these were all from last season.

They wanted to see some new drama on the show, but it seemed as if there was nothing new happening. This is why fans took to Reddit to show how outraged they were.

One Redditor was quick to share their feelings about what happened during the first episode.

They wrote, “WTF did we just watch? This is LITERALLY the same confessional interview looks from last season. I know it was filmed in late 2021… but they couldn’t even get new material?! This is last season’s bs!!! It’s like TLC didn’t even try.”

Another fan agreed with writing, “They could have kept this. None of it was PREMIERE quality. First episode is supposed to bring the drama. This was like before the reunion even! This show sucks!”

One more added, “We are all here for the fallout, seeing Janelle tell Kody to f**k off and how Meri finally does what she should have done like 10 years ago.”

The comments kept going too. One more Redditor added, “I have no interest in watching a new season of Kody crying about a lack of respect and Robyn crying about how she was tricked into joining the family. And nobody wants another year of outdoor arguments. Get these people inside for crying out loud!”
