Sister Wives: Meri Brown Tries To Save Face

Sister Wives star Meri Brown just can’t catch a break.  Kody Brown’s first wife was roasted when she copied Janelle Brown and Christine Brown and “dumped” the patriarch.  Social media was perplexed, did Meri still think she was in a relationship? What exactly has Meri Brown been doing the last five years? That’s about how long ago Kody basically told her on national television they were never, ever getting back together.

Meri got some horrible editing on the last few seasons of Sister Wives.  The producers basically painted her as a sad puppy who was following Kody around for half a decade and begging him to stay married to her.

Sister Wives – Meri Brown Is Tired Of Being Mocked

Sister Wives viewers are pretty unanimous that Meri wasted several years of her life trying to get Kody to take her back.  And, they have been very vocal about it on social media.

Apparently, Meri Brown is tired of being mocked for standing by her man, and she sat down with People Magazine to try and set the record straight.

Meri told People Magazine, “There’s a lot of misconceptions about me, personally, because people are always telling me, ‘You don’t know what you’re worth. You have no value.’ Just really derogatory [things] about me.  And it’s like, no, actually, I know what I’m worth, and I know what my value is, and I know what my values are.”

The Sister Wives star also added, “This is why I worked to try to save my marriage for so long. A lot of people look at it as because I waited so long, it means I have no confidence, I think that’s a huge, huge misconception.”

Meri Brown says she stayed in a loveless marriage and kept trying to get Kody to take her back because she is such a strong, confident woman.  Is anyone else having a tough time making sense of this?

It sounds like the Sister Wives star is just mortified by the feedback she has received this season and is trying to save face.
