Sister Wives: Kody’s Brothers Claim They Broke Abuse Cycle

Sister Wives fans heard allegations that Kody Brown was abusive and now it seems that his brothers might have broken a cycle of abuse. Travis and Michael Brown run a podcast and they claimed that their grandfather and their own dad, William “Winn” Brown were abusive. The news arrived via Without A Crystal Ball on Instagram.

TLC fans might seem a bit confused because Gwendlyn posts content on Patreon. Some of it makes it to YouTube. Meanwhile, other things come out via TikTok. For a while, people believed that Kody never ever abused Gwendlyn with spankings that caused “bruising.” And that seems to be due to the deletion of a video. Additionally, there was a mention of no abuse at all. Still, deleted or not, people do have memories.

Some Sister Wives fans argue that Gwenbdlyn retracted saying that her dad hurt as her a kid. Of course, once Paedon started talking about Meri and the alleged abuse, other family members also spoke up. However, with Season 17 revealing Kody yelling and sounding verbally abusive with his wives, fans can easily imagine he might have inherited that from his dad. In fact, Paedon Brown admitted that he once slapped his sister. Did a cycle of violence trickle down from the past?

Katie Brown of Without A Crystal Ball took to Instagram on March 3 and talked about Travis and Michael. Apparently, “Kody Brown’s two youngest brothers…claim their father William Winn Brown was extremely abusive.” In the write-up about it, allegedly, he was more than verbally abusive and he engaged in “physical” abuse as well. Katie added, “Travis alleged that Winn was abused by his father.” So, it seems that grandpa was also brutally violent with the kids.

Sister Wives fans should know that the two brothers didn’t mention Kody Brown from the TLC show. However, they did claim that they “have broken the cycle and don’t abuse their kids.” In a way, it could be that by not mentioning Kody, they point a finger his way. Of course, that makes it pure speculation. Bear in mind, no proof arrived that Kody ever did anything more than just yell at his wives.

Sister Wives Spoilers – TLC Fans Believe The Allegations About Kody Brown’s Dad

Sister Wives brought a scene where one fan recollected Kody Brown mentioned “daddy issues” with Gabe. Nobody would be at all surprised to hear that the previous generations of Kody’s family were abusive. As one of them noted, “Monkey see, Monkey do.”

Another follower wrote in response to that, “…Everyone has the choice to do better and not repeat cycles of abu$e.”

This comment also arrived: “Nothing surprises me. Cody (sic) is abusive with his dirty mouth.”
