Sister Wives: Kody Brown Secretly Furious Janelle Spent TLC Money?

Sister Wives spoilers say Kody Brown put on a good front when Janelle Brown gave him the tour of her new house on the TLC show.  The Brown Family’s reality TV show is filmed several months in advance.  So, we are just now seeing Janelle and Kody’s split play out.  And, fans noticed something hilarious about Janelle’s new house tour.

Technically, this is the first season of Sister Wives that Janelle Brown and Christine Brown filmed since “leaving” Kody.  So, theoretically, this is the first check the two women received from TLC.

Sister Wives: The Brown Family’s Complicated Finances

Sister Wives viewers know that Kody and his wives all pooled their income in one account and paid the family’s bills accordingly.

If Christine and Janelle have left the family, then they most likely have their own bank accounts now and any money they made from Season 18 of Sister Wives went straight to them instead of to “the family” (aka Robyn and Kody’s house).

Last year on Sister Wives, Janelle Brown was living in a camper.  So, this new house she was showing Kody Brown is a massive upgrade.

Janelle did good, we were a little envious of her kitchen cabinets.  It’s a nice house, and Kody noticed it when he was walking through with Janelle and their daughter.

Kody played it off for Sister Wives cameras and said he was just upset because it’s the first home he wouldn’t be living in with Janelle.  (But, he didn’t mind not being invited to the RV).  But, fans on social media have a different theory.

Was Kody Brown actually upset when he realized how expensive Janelle’s new home was, and that was all money he would have normally received from TLC and spent on what he wanted?

Imagine Kody walking through that amazing new home, and thinking of how much everything in it cost, and all of the things he could have done with that money if Janelle hadn’t branched off on her own.
