‘Sister Wives’: Kody Brown Detests Truely’s Close Bond With David Woolley

Sister Wives star Kody Brown is apparently not happy regarding his daughter Truely’s close bond with his ex Christine Brown’s fiancé David Woolley. This comes after Christine was seen in public with her youngest daughter and David at a local Costco on April 16. However, Kody thinks his ex is moving too fast, too soon, and it might negatively affect Truely. So, why does the father of eighteen detest his daughter’s close bond with David Woolley? As per an insider, Kody has been very disturbed after seeing his daughter’s picture with David. Not just that, it seems that the reality star is bothered by everything that has been happening in Christine’s life, and the new relationship she has makes him sick.

Back in an episode of Sister Wives that aired in October 2022, Kody and Christine butted heads over a tense conversation regarding Truely’s shared custody. The source further revealed that Truely is a complete daddy’s girl and has always been. So, the whole situation that Kody is currently dealing with is heartbreaking.

On the other hand, the source revealed that Truely is getting along well with her soon-to-be stepfather. However, she tolerates him for the most part for her mother’s happiness, given that she still isn’t an adult yet and finds it difficult to understand the new family dynamics as a teenager.

When the former couple discussed Truely’s custody, it happened around the time Christine decided to move out from Arizona and back to Utah. The TV star announced her move in 2021 right before she confirmed that she and Kody were no longer together. However, regarding his rights over Truely, the Brown family patriarch said that Christine can’t take her away from him, and they will have to have 50-50 custody.

Kody further asserted that he wishes to be involved in her daughter’s life, and Christine can’t stop him from doing so. He even blamed Christine for moving away with Truely and not consulting him with regard to the decision. However, Christine claimed that Kody has never been interested in Truely’s life, and now that she is leaving, he wants 50/50 custody which is ironic to her.

Although Kody has knowledge of Christine’s engagement with David Woolley, he is yet to congratulate her publicly. This is because he is aggravated by the fact that she has moved on fast, and he is having a hard time believing whether David’s intentions towards his ex are true or just for fame.
