Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Blames Christine As The Reason He Isn’t Back With Janelle

Kody Brown is convinced that were it not for Christine’s influence, Janelle would have come running back to him. At the moment, Kody is only left with Robyn, after the other three left in quick succession.

On Sunday, October 29 episode of the TLC reality TV show, Kody confessed that he feels a bit scared of confiding in estranged wife Janelle, because he fears Christine will find out about it.

Kody Brown Holds Out Hope For A Reconciliation With “Spiritual Wife” Janelle

At the time when the Sunday episode was filmed, Kody’s relationship with Janelle had become estranged. However, even then, Janelle refused to acknowledge that they were officially split, and Kody chose to see it as a temporary thing.

In the episode, he confessed that Janelle isn’t looking for a reconciliation. Why?

He said: “We see each other once in a while. We talk on the phone once in a while,” he continued. “I do believe we could reconcile. I do believe that it would require Christine and Janelle to sort of [be] like, ‘It’s been nice hanging out a lot.'”

Talking to the cameras, he added: “Christine has so much influence over Janelle. I just think it’s pathetic, so I don’t want to say anything to Janelle because I’m afraid Christine will find out about it, the kids will find out about it, it’s like, I just don’t want to talk about me.”

From the three that left, it was Janelle that Kody kept pining for. As for Meri, he confessed time and time again that he no longer considered himself married to her.

“She was married to me when I was married to Meri and she was married to me when I was married to Christine and she was married to me while I was married to Robyn,” he continued. “Why not now?”

Janelle, on the other hand, has moved on and she’s happier for it, saying that her relationship “just doesn’t seem to fit the parameters anymore,” and adding that it felt just like a “friends with benefits” condition instead of a marriage.
