Sister Wives: Kody And Robyn Brown Putting Their Kids To Work

Sister Wives Season 18 is winding down and we can all agree we have seen more of Robyn and Kody Brown‘s kids in this season than the last three or four seasons combined.  And, it’s no accident.

Robyn And Kody Brown Are Desperately Trying To Hold On To Their TLC Paychecks.

Any longtime Sister Wives viewer can tell you exactly how the Brown Family’s finances have worked (or not worked) over the years.

Basically, everyone’s TLC paychecks go in the “family account” and all of Kody’s wives (except Robyn of course) work other jobs on the side and also pool their paychecks in the family account.

Sister Wives spoilers show Kody is already panicking, they lost three reality TV paychecks plus Janelle Brown, Christine Brown, and Meri’s other streams of income (like the bed and breakfast, LulaRoe, etc).

To add insult to injury, the majority of Kody Brown’s kids who actually helped the ratings, are no longer on speaking terms with their father nor are they filming like they used to.

Kody Brown and Robyn basically lost 75% of their income when the wives walked.  What better way to secure paychecks from TLC than to start filming with Robyn’s kids?

The cameras were finally allowed in Robyn’s house this season, and her kids have had a ton of screen time.  There was even that cringe scene where Kody took his step-daughter to get her ears pierced.

Sadly, it doesn’t look like Robyn and Kody’s kids are really bringing in the ratings.  After all, no one is all that invested in kids that we barely saw the last ten years.

A huge number of Sister Wives fans have watched the show religiously and can’t even name all of Robyn’s kids.

Keeping The Sister Wives Paychecks In The House

The reason the rest of the Brown Kids brought in ratings like they did was because we literally have watched them grow from awkward pre-teens to mothers and fathers themselves.

Sister Wives fans really have no attachment to Robyn and Kody’s kids, nor will they keep tuning in every week to see them get something pierced.

Is it sad that Robyn forgot all the reasons she didn’t want to film her kids when the money started running low?

Is Kody putting Robyn’s kids to work on the show just so they can keep the TLC paychecks in their house?
