Sister Wives: For Financial Reasons, Janelle Brown ‘May Take Ex Kody Back’

Since the 18th installment of “Sister Wives” premiered, viewers have been seeing Janelle Brown and her ex-husband Kody Brown fall out in their arguments. However, the recent episode which aired on September 10, showed the mom of six break down in tears over her financial state.

In the clip, Janelle told the camera, “I’m stuck. Financially, I have nothing. Christine had the house, I had nothing. My name is on the [Coyote Pass] property with everybody else, probably nobody will cooperate now and play ball.” She went on to add, “I can’t believe I’m 50 and I can’t even do my own thing ’cause I’m so tied up with them financially. And I can’t do anything.”

Back in 2018, Kody and his then-four wives; Meri, 52, Janelle, 54, Christine, 51, and Robyn, 44, bought four parcels of land in Flagstaff, Arizona, and named it Coyote Pass.

The initial plan was to divide the land into five so that he and his wives would build their own houses where they would all stay with their children.

Following their divorce from Kody, Christine and Meri moved to Utah. On July 28, 2023, Christine signed over the parcel in her name to Kody and Robyn.

When the 18th installment of their reality TV show premiered on August 20, viewers saw that Janelle was the only person still interested in building a house on her own portion of land.

The mom of two said, “I thought we would be so much further along in the building process, but that’s just taken a long time.” She then proceeded to bring out a large piece of paper containing her building plans.

After watching Janelle cry over her financial state, it’s clear that things didn’t go exactly as planned for her. For this reason, a source close to Janelle shared with The U.S. Sun that the reality tv star is considering taking Kody back.

According to the insider, “Knowing Janelle on a personal level, I see her going back to Kody,”
The source continued, “She’s not going to have money, really, until they figure out how to deal with dividing up money from the property. And that’s why I think she’s going to go back to Kody.”

The insider went on to tell the outlet, “She’s just not going to be able to really do things on her own. She’s never in her life been financially [stable].”
