Sister Wives Fans Query Paedon Brown On Alleged Abuse By Meri

Sister Wives alum, Paedon Brown did a very long interview with John Yates and the media picked up hints that he alleged Meri Brown physically abused some of the kids. Actually, the interview brought a lot of insights from the perspective of Christine’s only son. Not everyone believes his suggestions that there might have been some abuse.

Sister Wives Alum Paedon Brown Opens Up About Meri

The three-hour interview with John Yates came on YouTube and it trended.TLC fans had already seen him become more vocal on TikTok and he mentioned a lot of things in his new interview. Paedon said, “I want the show to last as long as possible. I know for a fact if I put certain things out there, it would really hurt the show.” However, he might have just jeopardized it with what he said about Meri Brown and abuse. Oddly enough, he claims the only two siblings who talk to Meri are Mariah (Leon) and Gwlendlyn.

Sister Wives fans know that Paedon and Leon fell out after he posted about backing “The Blue.” Actually, they had a bit of a public spat about it and Audrey Kriss called him out. That came when he said that he can’t “stand” Meri’s only child. Meanwhile, he once admitted on his TikTok that he slapped his sister, Gwendlyn. Apparently, they don’t talk and she fears being alone with him. So, fans ponder that if Meri was abusive, how come Gwen apparently feels safe with her?

Sister Wives – Paedon Suggests Meri Brown Abused Kids

In his interview, Paedon said, “Robyn probably saved several of our lives. Not definitely, but very maybe.” That came after he talked about how she came from an abusive relationship. The inference seemed to be that she protected the kids from Meri. Describing Meri Brown as “abrasive and kind of mean,” he also alleged that it went “so far past verbal,” adding. “Verbal basically stopped existing.” So, he claimed. “we were never safe around her.” 

Not every Sister Wives fan took the hints of physical abuse of the kids to heart. In fact, some TLC fans claimed that he told a few fibs in the interview. So, one follower of Without A Crystal Ball who shared a story about it on Instagram wrote, “if Robyn was the one who pointed it out (which I have a hard time believing)…why did she remain such close friends with Meri and why did she allow Meri around her own children? A lot of it doesn’t add up.”

Pondering The Truth Continues

More Sister Wives fans questioned the abuse that Peadon Brown hinted at. One of them said, “…if you think for one minute that Paedon isn’t some attention seeking narcissist like this father then you’re not looking hard enough. Choosing not to have a relationship with someone doesn’t make that other person an abuser. Being a £itch doesn’t make you an abuser. They’re all miserable!”
