Additionally, the couple purchased a home together. Sometime this summer, they plan to tie the knot. And now, David provided further insights into himself and his family, which generated speculation that he may become a permanent cast member of the TLC show.
David has a total of eight children from his first marriage to Margaret Woolley, who sadly died following her struggles with depression. He’s also a proud grandfather to other children. Actually, David’s background closely resembles that of Christine and her family, who has a massive brood themselves. Therefore, it seems natural that they could form a bond over their vast familial experiences.
As a side note, it’s worth mentioning that David’s father was actively involved in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It seems that this aspect of his upbringing aligns with that of some of the Sister Wives cast members. In general, David’s life is a testament to the many wonderful qualities he possesses. His willingness to embrace his wife’s past indicates his empathy and understanding. Furthermore, those who enjoy watching the TLC show will probably appreciate seeing his and Christine’s growing relationship progress.
On the weekend, David took to Instagram and shared much more about himself. Although stickers covered a lot of faces, he shared a photo of his family. In his caption, he said, “Hello! Im sorry I have not let people know who I am yet. I have 8 kids. 6 are married 2 are single! I have 10 grandchildren. I also have kids and grandkids in California that are my extended family but I consider my own! Half of my kids do not want to be in the spot light, so I’m respecting their wishes and you won’t see their faces on here.”
Sister Wives fans saw that he talked about his former wife as well. He acknowledged her untimely passing and revealed that they were a couple “for twenty years.” The single dad raised his kids alone for “11 years.” Of course, he maintained an interest in dating, but none of them were serious. At least, not unit he met Christine Brown. Most fans probably know that he’s in the construction business, but he clarified, “I have been doing drywall since 1980 and own my company for the last 20 years.”
Sister Wives fans who saw the post took his reveal as a sign that he might become a permanent member of the cast. Reactions to that idea seem very positive. One of them wrote in the comments, “What I’m hearing from you is, season 18 is getting ready to be announced and we all get to meet you on camera very very soon!!!!?”
Do you hope that David Wooley getting candid about his family means much more of him becomes known in future seasons of the show? Let us know in the comments below.
