Reports indicate that Janelle didn’t like Kody’s patriarchal ways, which was why she moved out. A source close to the family has suggested that counseling may be on the horizon for the two to mend their relationship.

In contrast, Meri had already expressed her willingness to reconcile during the Tell All episode. Should Meri and Janelle reconcile with Kody, there may still be hope for the family to save their land. However, no official confirmation from the cast has been made regarding this update.
