The property overlooks mountains and a desert landscape. TLC fans recall that the kids loved to go and feed the animals. But, it can be dangerous work out there as Colton knows. In fact, he was recently lucky to have escaped serious injury.

Interestingly, he seems to be a man of humor, but some folks just miss it. This week, when he avoided a near-serious incident, he told the tale in a rather amusing way. In fact, he talked about how his horse nearly gave him “a complementary bowel resection.”

Taking to his Instagram on June 10, Colton shared a lot of photos of some of the scenery where he grazes his cattle. Actually, it,s very beautiful., But he was not focused on the scenery of Utah. Instead, he focused on his white horse and on himself. He started off by asking, “You know when you go out to ride fences, and you’ve been on your snotty horse for 5 minutes when his brain decides the jackrabbit under his feet is actually a two-ton rattlesnake with a toothache?”

Well, the Seeking Sister Wife star carried on in a light tone and he talked about how his horse got spooked by something. Reacting, it took off and nearly ran into a half-dead cedar tree. Actually, it sounds like the former TLC star was lucky not to get impaled on it. And the horse, if it comes to that. He said, “I’m glad he didn’t impale himself and I was able to quickly twist enough in the saddle to only break skin slightly, instead of wearing a tree branch home. It’ll be a nasty bruise.”

Seeking Sister Wife fans were happy that Colton Winder didn’t impale himself or worse. One of them said, “Love the description and am glad you are okay!”
