Royal Family News: Will Prince Harry Attend King Charles’ Coronation?

British Royal Family News says that you might not want to hold your breath for this one. Apparently, there’s a very little chance Harry will actually attend King Charles’ Coronation in May. That’s because the Duke of Sussex has apparently made some demands that he would like to see happen before he even steps foot in the UK again. Here’s what you need to know.

Royal Family News – Royal Historian Thinks Harry Will Not Attend King Charles’ Coronation

Royal historian Hugo Vickers thinks that it will be a cold day in hell before Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle attend the Coronation celebrations in May. “Harry has made it clear that he has certain conditions before he will accept any invitation,” Vickers told Page Six. “It is always possible to reconcile if both parties are willing to do so … but I don’t think the Harry side will budge. He’s never wrong about anything. so that’s not a very good start.”

Interestingly enough, Vickers also added, “I do hope Harry won’t come, as it could deflect from the ceremony. After all, that’s why they don’t invite crowned Kings and Queens to a coronation.”

During his interview with Tom Bradby on ITV, the Duke of Sussex likened his family to abusers. When Brady said that Harry hasn’t just burned bridges, but has basically thrown a hand grenade towards his family, the Duke of Sussex responded with, “Well they’ve shown absolutely no willingness to reconcile up until this point. And I’m not sure how honesty is burning bridges. You know, silence only allows the abuser to abuse. Right? So I don’t know how staying silent is ever gonna make things better. That’s genuinely what I believe.”

Harry also again explained why he and Meghan Markle had no choice but to pack up their bags and leave the UK for good. He said, “I left the country and for 12 – for 12 months it was relentless. So again, one of the reasons why I am moving the – the mission of changing the media landscape within the UK from being personal to my life’s work, a large part of that is down to the ongoing legal battles. Right?”
