Royal Family News: Sarah Ferguson Will Be Attending The Coronation Festivities After All

You can’t keep this woman at home for too long. After it was announced that Sarah Ferguson has not been invited to King Charles’ coronation, it looks like she will be there for the festivities anyway. There’s a new report that says the Duchess of York will join her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, and her two daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, for the coronation concert. According to The Sun, Sarah Ferguson will be a VIP attendee at the Windsor Castle concert after all. As many royal fans probably know by now, Take That, Andrea Bocelli, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie are all set to perform at the concert. It was previously report that a host of British chart toppers like Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran and Adele politely declined their invites to perform at the coronation.

Earlier in the month, Sarah did confirm that she wasn’t going to the coronation. But that doesn’t mean she won’t be in a celebratory mood that day. According to the Daily Express, Sarah said, “I personally will be having a little tea room and coronation chicken sandwich and putting out the bunting, that’s what I’m going to be doing. Because that would make me very happy. I also love to watch it on the telly because you hear a lot on the telly.”

Royal Family News – What’s Next For The Duchess Of York?

A lot of people also believe that Sarah might have slighted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when she said that you can’t expect all of the perks of being a royal without being a full-time royal. She put it this way, “Remember I am divorced from him [Prince Andrew] so I don’t expect… you can’t have it both ways, you can’t be divorced and then say, ‘I want this…’ [You’re in] or you’re out.”

So far Sarah Ferguson has not made any additional comments about the matter but there’s no doubt that she will have a blast at the concert along with the other members of the royal family.
