Royal Family News: Prince William Applauded For Tackling Homelessness In The UK

Prince William has a new project and he’s already getting a lot of praise for it, mostly because he’s already hit the ground running. The Prince of Wales is being applauded for tackling homelessness in the UK with his new initiative, Homewards, even though some critics say that he might be wading in a political pool with this issue. Here’s what you need to know.

Is it Prince William’s job to end homelessness? Well, it all depends on who you ask. The Prince of Wales recently stated that he wants to eradicate the issue in the UK. But some people in the UK believe that he might be stepping on the government’s toes even though the issue was first taken on by his late mother Princess Diana back in 1993.

Clearly, all he’s doing his walking in his mother’s footsteps in the hopes that he can help the homeless in the UK find a place to sleep each and every night.

Of course, many royal fans and critics alike have commented on the matter with, “It’s a bipartisan issue anyway so no William isn’t stepping on the toes of the government! All royals have projects and interests.

William is doing the right thing by focusing on issues that he’s drawn to,” along with, “It may not be his job, but he is still working to make a positive difference.

King Charles did the same with tackling youth employment through his charity, the Prince’s Trust – which has been so successful, that it has rolled out to other countries across the world.”

Royal Family News: Is Prince William Trying To Be Too Political?

Another royal fan said, “He would only be stepping on governments toes if they were already doing something about homelessness- which no govt has ever made a serious effort to tackle. Homelessness has been a non-partisan Royal cause for as long as I can remember.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
