Royal Family News says that this sure isn’t going to help all of those rumors suggesting that they are two very lazy royals. There’s a new report that says the Prince and Princess of Wales have decided to clear their diaries for a very important reason as they have once again proven that their family always comes first. Here’s what you need to know.
According to a new report, Prince William and Kate Middleton have decided to cancel their public appearances and royal engagements this upcoming week as their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will all now be on half-term from school. And because William and Kate had spent very little time with them last week because of their trip to Cornwall, they want to make it up to their children by having some much-needed family time together. At least, that’s what royal expert Jennie Bond recently told OK! Magazine.
She said, “I think they’re trying, and I completely sympathize with the idea, to clear their diaries for those important half-terms. Maybe they’ll even go back to the Isles of Scilly for half-term, although it may be cold in February. Skiing is a big option.”
Bond also said that William and Kate keep things as normal as possible for their family, despite the fact that they are royals. She said, “They keep themselves to themselves. They stay in a lovely stone cottage with four bedrooms, but it’s really quite modest and not hugely luxurious. They have a very low profile and cycle around it.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about William and Kate’s travel plans, but it does appear as though they have taken off the week and postponed their workload until their children go back to school. Here’s hoping that they make the most of it and have as much fun as possible with their kiddos!
