British Royal Family News suggests that both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle don’t want their son Archie Harrison to attend his grandfather King Charles’ Coronation for a key reason. And that’s not because it’s also going to be his fourth birthday that day, but mostly because they don’t think it’s right for a young toddler to have to sit through such a grueling event as he’ll be expected to stay calm for several long hours during the festivities. Apparently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not looking to bring their children to London for King Charles’ big day and that’s because they think both Archie and his little sister are too young. It’s highly unlikely that the tots will be able to sit through an entire ceremony without having a meltdown, as most toddlers would. That makes logical sense, right?

Of course, it didn’t take very long for both royal fans and critics alike to weigh in on the matter and it seems like many do agree with Harry and Meghan’s supposed decision to leave Archie at home. Some comments on social media have included, “Congrats, Archie! You do not have to sit through hours of what to you must be a meaningless and utterly boring unending spectacle.

With paparazzi registering every muscle that you move,” along with, “Prince Charles was fidgety at the 1953 coronation if you look at the old films. The Queen Mother did whatever she could to explain things to him but he seemed very unimpressed, and I think he was taken out a bit early. Just reaching 4 years old seems very young to sit through an event like this.”

Another royal critic wrote, “There’s no need for any of them to attend the coronation especially after Harry and Meghan’s appalling behavior since they ran away.”
