Now, whether or not they actually hop on a plane to London and make it for the festivities, no one knows, but at least they are on the invite list, right? Here’s what you need to know.

Despite their strained relationship with the rest of the royal family, it has been confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have received an invite from the King of England himself. A spokesperson for the couple told The Sunday Times, “I can confirm The Duke has recently received email correspondence from His Majesty’s office regarding the coronation,” but also added, “An immediate decision on whether The Duke and Duchess will attend will not be disclosed by us at this time.”

By now, many royal fans know that both Harry and Meghan have had nothing but negative things to say about the royal family in their Netflix series, Harry and Meghan, and also in Harry’s book, Spare. The Duke of Sussex has even admitted that he’s been left traumatized by his father’s inability to hug him as a child. Not only that, but Harry also said that Charles used to poke fun at all of the rumors that he wasn’t really his biological father.

Royal Family News: What’s Next For Harry and Meghan?

Needless to say, many royal critics have commented on the matter with, “As much as Hapless is family, let’s hope Charles has security surrounding them at all times. Not for their sakes, but so they can’t film or record or photograph anything at all they can use in future Netflix specials or anymore tell-alls,” along with, “Harry and Meghan will have cameras rolling and hidden microphones. They will gather new information for the next series of books, interviews and documentaries. Harry and Meghan said they demand the Royal family apologize. They should demand the $32 million back for their wedding and strip titles.”

Harry and Meghan have not commented on the matter.
