Royal Family News: Piers Morgan Is Piping Mad Over Prince Archie And Princess Lilibet’s New Titles

Another day, another reason for Piers Morgan to gripe about Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their family. This time around the British television personality is making it pretty clear that he’s none too pleased over the news that says Harry and Meghan’s two children have been given royal titles. And yes, the move by King Charles was enough to get quite the reaction from Piers as he thinks it’s a hypocritical one. Here’s what you need to know.

During his new show Uncensored, Piers made his thoughts on the matter pretty clear as he believes that Archie and Lilibet shouldn’t be getting their own titles, because he thinks their parents Harry and Meghan should be stripped from theirs.

That’s because Piers, and just like so many Britons, believes that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made irreparable damage to the monarchy with all of the ways they’ve managed to throw everyone under the bus in their Netflix series, Harry and Meghan, and again in the prince’s tell-all book, Spare.

Piers put it this way, “Because I was sure that they kept telling the world how ghastly the monarchy is – it’s a prison camp, all the royals want to get away from it but they can’t because they are trapped in the world of titles and privilege – and now they want to give their kids the titles of Prince and Princess? Even though they don’t live anywhere near the Royal Family.”

As many royal fans know by now, the royal family’s official website was recently updated to reflect a change in Archie and Lilibet’s names. Archie is now known as Prince Archie of Sussex while his little sister is Princess Lilibet of Sussex. So far Harry and Meghan have not made any comments about the matter.
