Royal Family News: Meghan Markle Might Using Her Kids As An Excuse To Skip Coronation

At this point, they might as well just admit that they don’t want to go because it’s going to be awkward seeing all of the members of the royal family there. British Royal News suggests that Meghan Markle might use her two children, Archie and Lilibet, as an excuse to get out of attending King Charles’ Coronation in May. After all, the festivities land on the same day as Archie’s 4th birthday and be there for his big day, too. Here’s what you need to know.

While the invites haven’t even been sent out yet, the world keeps on speculating about whether or not the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will show up for what will most likely be King Charles’ most important day of his reign. But seeing how they’ve spent the last several months bashing the royal family with every opportunity they’ve gotten, it’s highly unlikely they will show up, as the awkwardness factor will certainly be through the roof.

One source close to the situation told The Times, “She will use the excuse of looking after Archie and Lilibet, and Archie’s birthday. But no-one really knows. The coronation is being held on their son Archie’s fourth birthday.”

With that said, King Charles is still willing to iron things out wit Harry before the big day. The tipster added, “I’m sure that his father would be more than happy to sit down and have a conversation with him about everything that has happened. But it would not be a one-way street. He would be happy to talk and listen and understand. He has always tried to understand his son, even if he might not agree with him.”

Royal Family News – What’s Next For The Royals?

So far Harry and Meghan have not made any comments about the matter, but it will definitely be interesting to see if they show up to the Coronation. That, and it will also be interesting to see Prince William’s reaction to it all as there’s no doubt that Harry is the last person that he wants to see right now.
