British royal family news reveals that Succession star Brian Cox thinks that Meghan Markle went into a royal marriage with eyes wide open. According to him she, “knew what she was getting into” marrying Prince Harry.
One poster challenged this point of view asking instead, “The bigger issue is, did Prince Markle know what he was getting into?”
Both of these royal rejects are now the most unpopular they have ever been after three years of damaging criticism of the royal family; you know what they say, when you point the finger, there are three more pointing back at YOU.
The seasoned actor and Emmy winner said in a Haute Living New York interview published this week that Markle “clearly” had “ambitions” of joining the royal family.
The Royal Family News: Markles Are Unpopular
Harry and Suits alum Meghan married in 2018 and defected form the monarchy in 2020. Cox stated that Markle had, “the childhood dreams of marrying Prince Charming and all that s–t we see as fantasy that could be our lives in our dreams.”
Cox said, “You can’t go into a system where somebody’s already been trained to behave in a certain kind of way and then just expect them to cut themselves off.” Except that that is precisely what Harry did.

He further asserted of Princess Pinocchio: “I mean, she knew what she was getting into.”
Later in the interview, the Golden Globe winner voiced anti-monarchist views, saying he would wishes the UK would “move on” from the royals.
“In my opinion, we shouldn’t have a monarchy. It’s not viable; it doesn’t make any sense. F–k it.” On the other hand, the royals bring in billions in tourism dollars and that makes a lot of sense, especially now. Actors are not economists, they cry for a living.
Royal Family News: Actor Loves the Markles
Cox is sympathetic to the Markles, telling Good Morning Britain last year that the poor darlings had “trauma” living in the gilded palace, rent free, spending tax payer dollars, and getting an allowance from his dad King Charles. According to the actor, who is vague as pond scum: “I don’t think they made it up, I don’t think it’s false. I think it’s true and should’ve been rectified, and it hasn’t.”
